Elegance in the Foothills.

Let's travel back in time to 2011 to catch a glimpse of this elegant wedding day....

The upstairs hallway in between the complimentary Champagne and Chianti Suites provided a quiet background for some ethreal photographs of Shannon.  Rebecca of Ford Family Photography caught the mood of the day, perfectly.  

The triple tiered cake consisted of 2 layers of our rich peanut butter cup cake and one layer of our luscious lemon cake filled with lemon curd and coconut cream. The elegant combination of black, white and red was accented by dangling crystals from the top tier.

Joe Kalamaras of SJ's DJ, once again provided the music that kept the party going.

The wonderful O'Shay's Florist did a perfect job on the personal flowers, which incorporated crystals in with the stunning red roses.  These bouquests continued the simple elegance flowing throughout the entire event.

The Monte Verde Inn!!!

Wedding Season has begun here at the Monte Verde Inn!

The month of March marked the beginning of wedding season here at the Monte Verde Inn.

We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather on March 25th.  The ceremony was able to be held outside in our beautiful, fully shaded ceremony site.

A white aisle runner, provided by The Monte Verde Inn, led the way to the beautifully decorated arch, courtesy of O'Shay's Florist in Auburn.

A sand ceremony performed by the couple, Julia and Terrance, combined two different colors of sand into one heart shaped container.

From the Chateau package, as a passed appetizer, Julia chose the Poached Prawns with Louisiana Cocktail Sauce.  Her guests also enjoyed the Flank Steak Satay with Spicy Thai Peanut Sauce.

Following cocktail and hor's doevure hour, the wedding party and guests moved into the ballroom for dinner.

Julia chose the Ivory Lamour tablecoths topped with Goldenrod Crush napkins.

The elegant all-ivory, 3 tiered wedding cake was designed with the couple and handmade by Kelly Dalisa.

Something old, something new, something borrowed and something BLUE!

Mallory's bright blue shoes fit her bright personality to a "T".

The elegant bouquets were provided by O'Shay's Florist located in Auburn, CA.

Joe Kalamaras from SJ's DJ kept the party going long into the night.

Ryan Donahue of Donahue Photography gave us a unique perspective of Mallory and Doug. We can see their happiness shining through their eyes.

Romance in Red

Laurel and Frankie showed us what romance was all about.

From Laurel's red shoes to the beautiful red flowers she and her bridesmaids carried, to the stunning red place settings. These two sure showed us they know how to love.

As the girls relaxed in the complimentary Champagne Suite, Laurel was helped into her gown by her mother.

Laurel was stunning in her beautiful gown.

The vineyard here at the Monte Verde Inn served as a perfect backdrop for their romance to shine! 

With breathtaking photography by Jessica Locicero, and music provided by Joe Kalamaras of SJ's DJ, it was a perfect summer wedding here in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. 

The 3-tiered marble cake created by Inn owner, Kelly Dalisa, was a sweet ending to an even sweeter night.

With the Monte Verde Inn's gardens twinkling well into the night....
