Certainly Meant to Bee...

Katie and Jeff were married at the Monte Verde Inn, on Saturday, August 18th, 2012.

It was a beautiful summer day in our fully shaded ceremony site.

Katie chose our mason jar vases for her centerpieces.  She also chose to make her own table numbers, incorporating hand drawn trees into the mix.

From the Vineyard package for Hors d'Oeuvres, Katie chose Chicken Satay with Spicy Thai Peanut Sauce,

Warm Foccacia Bread with Brie, Fig Compote, Carmelized Onions and Proscuitto,

and Crisp Breads with Mediterranean Relishes, Roasted Garlic and Goat Cheese.

Little jars of honey were placed at each place setting for the guests to take home with them at the end of the night.

A big thank you to O'Shay's and Joe Kalamaras of SJ's Disc Jockey for their contribution to a wonderful celebration.

August 3rd, 2012....a perfect summer day here at the Monte Verde Inn. 

Perfect for the celebration of marriage between Laura and Blake.

 

Guests arriving at the ceremony, were greeted with sparkling glasses of champagne. 

After Laura and Blake's first look, the ceremony got under way. 

O'Shays in Auburn provided the sunflower accented bouquets.  Such a perfect match to the bridesmaid's lavender dresses. 

The photography of Daniel Neal captured the emotions of the day perfectly.

The triple tiered wedding cake consisted of two layers of lemon curd filled lemon cake and one layer of marble cake filled with chocolate cream.  This yummy cake was created by Kelly Dalisa of the Monte Verde Inn.  

Joe Kalamaras of SJ's Disc Jockey is always a joy to work with.  Helping the evening run smoothly, he also provided the lighting on the dance floor as well as keeping the party rockin' well into the night.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Jackson from all of us here at the Monte Verde Inn! 

A Friday evening in June...

Friday, June 22nd, 2012 was the perfect evening for Oscar and Nassim to celebrate their big day here at The Monte Verde Inn.

Nassim's family members set up this table above the outdoor ceremony site, to incorporate some Persian traditions into the ceremony.

Our gardens were in full bloom and putting on a show for this special couple. 

O'Shay's Flowers once again provided the beautiful bouquets and other personal flowers requested by the bride and groom.

With the wedding photography provided by Get Framed Photography, there were plenty of romantic spots to catch Oscar and Nassim together as husband and wife.

B&B Mine....

Briana and Brandon chose Friday, July 6, 2012, as their special day.

We here at The Monte Verde Inn were so honored that we were able to be a part of it and share in the love these two "B's" have for each other.

This gorgeous day went off without a hitch.  The beautiful bouquets were provided by O'Shay's Flowers.  Always spectacular.

O'Shays also decorated the arch according to Briana's specifications along with providing mason jars filled with petite flowers that we hung on the ceremony chairs lining the center aisle.

The special feeling thoughout the day was captured wonderfully by Lynda Kennedy Photography.

The fuschia of the bridesmaids' dresses was carried over to the fuschia of the flowers on the hand-crafted cake created by Kelly Dalisa here at the Monte Verde Inn.

The "B" theme was evident throughout the ceremony and reception.

Joe Kalamaras of SJ's DJ kept the party rocking well into the night.

Happiness...

Something old, something new, something borrowed and something BLUE!

Mallory's bright blue shoes fit her bright personality to a "T".

The elegant bouquets were provided by O'Shay's Florist located in Auburn, CA.

Joe Kalamaras from SJ's DJ kept the party going long into the night.

Ryan Donahue of Donahue Photography gave us a unique perspective of Mallory and Doug. We can see their happiness shining through their eyes.

Romance in Red

Laurel and Frankie showed us what romance was all about.

From Laurel's red shoes to the beautiful red flowers she and her bridesmaids carried, to the stunning red place settings. These two sure showed us they know how to love.

As the girls relaxed in the complimentary Champagne Suite, Laurel was helped into her gown by her mother.

Laurel was stunning in her beautiful gown.

The vineyard here at the Monte Verde Inn served as a perfect backdrop for their romance to shine! 

With breathtaking photography by Jessica Locicero, and music provided by Joe Kalamaras of SJ's DJ, it was a perfect summer wedding here in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. 

The 3-tiered marble cake created by Inn owner, Kelly Dalisa, was a sweet ending to an even sweeter night.

With the Monte Verde Inn's gardens twinkling well into the night....
